The Ấn Quang pagoda was built in 1948 and redesigned in 1953. Being the Buddhist University in the South, the headquarters of the School of Buddhist Studies and the seat of the Unified Buddhist Temple of Vietnam, plenty of Dharma teachers, monks and nuns have been trained here.
