Chez Guido has been my go-to delivery restaurant since I was working in a small office on Nguyen Cuu Van Street - where they used to be. They have an extensive menu of Italian, American as well as Asian food. I've yet to order any Asian dish from the menu, but if my memory serves me right, my co-workers used to say it's pretty good, though a bit on the pricey side. However, the Western menu comes with reasonable prices. Now that I am working from home, I order from them quite a lot - I'm a fan of their no-frills quick service.
The most interesting part with ordering from Chez Guido, in my opinion, is you get a free banana for each main course ordered. I am not a banana eater, but their bananas make for good vegan ice cream after a day in the freezer. For the review I ordered a Bolognese pasta and a mushroom pasta. The Bolognese was good as usual - al dente pasta with a nice sauce. The mushroom one was a bit on the bland side, and by the time it reached me, the cheese sauce was starting to stick together. I peppered it up with plenty of the parmesan cheese that came in small packets along with the utensils, and some extra from my fridge, then microwaved the whole thing tills hot enough for the sauce to melt back to its cheesy consistency. The plastic containers were microwave-safe - not exactly environmental friendly, but still a plus point when so many delivery places use Styrofoam boxes that I have found no way to recycle.
Chez Guido is a delivery only restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City. Founded by an Italian chef their extensive menu includes a lot of European, but also American and Asian food. Prices are affordable and they have built a reputation on fast deliveries.
