Alright guys, you may complain how lame the burgers at Lotteria are, or how slow the service is, but you sure can’t complain how friendly the prices are to your wallet.
Occasionally, even a health enthusiast like yours truly gets cravings for some cheap greasy grubs, and Lotteria at Cantavil An Phú is my go-to place for that purpose. My main pick? Cheese Egg Burger, a very tasty sandwich of beef patty, cheese and egg, with a dollop of ketchup between the buns. I guess it’s artery-clogging, but at 20,000đ, this is one of the cheapest beef burgers you can find at any fast food chain in Vienam.
Kids’ favourites, the Hot Pie (choice of taro or apple; I personally love taro) and Fish Nuggets (4 pieces per box) are also a steal at 10,000đ and 15,000đ respectively. Both are deep-fried to golden perfection; crispy on the outside but soft and gooey on the inside…yums. My only gripe with the Fish Nuggets is that it’s most probably made with local basa fish, which is known for its high toxic content. As we can’t expect to be served cod in Lotteria, it’s advisable to be prudent with the quantity consumed.
The big Lotteria counter located at the 5th floor food court in Parkson Cantavil Premier is a hot spot among teens and youths during the weekends. The soft-serve cones (3,000đ) sell like hot cakes in this weather! Business is a bit slow during the weekdays, so there’s a lunch promotion (10am to 2pm) for burger combo (Bulgogi/ Premium Chicken/ Fish/ Cheeseburger) with fries and soft drink, or rice combo (beef steak/ chicken & fried egg) with salad and soup. Price tag? 35,000đ. Try beat that, McD.
