Located near the corner of Nguyen Van Linh boulevard and Nguyen Luong Bang street you will find Parkson Paragon, a department store and shopping mall. The building has a very grand French style from the inside and out.
The ground floor offers mainly cosmetics, perfume and women's fashion. The other floors are more varied with a range of well-known and lesser known brands. Sadly I can only see this as an interesting shopping stop if you happen to be in the area and looking for lotions and similar products as both the shopping experience and product range is much better in malls like Vincom Center, and the lack of shoppers suggest that others agree.
The food court is one of the saddest in Ho Chi Minh City, not only because it is housed underground together with the parking garage, on my visit there were less than 5 customers in total and several of the spaces for restaurants were closed.
I do enjoy the cinema as it doesn't get as packed as the other Megastar cinemas in town, and there is lots of potential for this building, but they seem to be struggling hard in the competition with nearby The Crescent. I hope things will turn around.
