This review is based on my recent visit to the Phúc Long on 29 Ngô Đức Kế street in District 1. I went here for lunch and had to wait for a bit to be seated, but the menu was available in English and the staff were friendly and attentive so it was an overall convenient experience.
I have tried their excellent ice teas before, but this was the first time I tried their food. I spent a total of 98,000₫ for the "Roasted Drumstick with Rice" and the "Peach Black Ice Tea", my girlfriend spent 49,000₫ on the "Simmered Pork Belly".
For me this was some of the best ice tea I have ever had, and the peach slices at the bottom of the tea served the purpose of dessert excellently after finishing the meal. My chicken drumstick was juicy, delicious and served steaming hot together with a normal portion of white rice. Phúc Long is really shaping up to be Vietnam's best domestic food brand for me, and I can't wait to try more dishes from their menu.
