Saigon is a street food heaven. But don’t get me wrong, as much as street food can echo in our minds as quick and cheap, it’s not always "just about this". We all have our "best Phở" place, our "best Bánh mì" join. Well here is where I go when on a seafood crave, off Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai in D1.

Who would have thought that a couple of meters away form the French Consulate and off the busy and noisy Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai was a seafood paradise? Look no further for a feast your low budget and your taste buds will be eternally thankful for.

The stuffed oysters with garlic butter and roasted peanuts are a killer, while the barbeque squid, fried seafood rice, steamed shells with ginger and cilantro will make you ask for more! Wait until you taste their morning glory with garlic. All on this only written in Vietnamese menu is a mouth-watering dish, so make an adventurous pick, you’re sure to be satisfied.

It’s also one of the only street food place that serves dark beer, and for 3 ordered, the forth is on the house ! If you don’t fancy this beverage (a bit like me), fear not, they’ve go Tiger and all other sorts of the usual beers, and soft drinks as well, of course!

This is an amazing place to hang out for a lazy endless dinner with a bunch of friends. What are you waiting for? Run!!!
