I would have never been spotted anywhere near the Cresent Mall in D7 for lunch if it was not for two friends of mine living nearby, and I must say it was worth it!
Phú Mỹ Hưng just takes you away from the noisy city although you are still in town, with the parks and the big streets. On a hot day, a crave for some sushi and sashimi is perfectly understandable and Tokyo Deli a perfect solution.
You will find its branches all over Saigon, and the quality is the same everywhere, so choose your outing to enjoy their food.
Their sushi is a killer with their “dive in” sweet sauce, and the sashimi is very fresh, served with soya sauce and wasabi. My friend chose her lunch from the set menus, and she was thrilled with her prawn and miso soup, served with rice and salad.
As it was International Women’s day, we even got a free berry sorbet. Tokyo Deli is a safe choice and a great value for money, with great service.
If you don’t fancy sitting outside, do try inside. On the ground floor, you can enjoy the open kitchen with big windows, and on the first floor, you’ll find some typical Japanese sitting, to match what you’re having.
