30/4 Park

For a city that is well known for its noise, chaotic traffic & general busyness, HCMC also has its fair share of very chilled out parks. 30/4 Park is one such place that offers a welcome break from the continually hectic environment. It is easy to reach & is very close to other attractions including Notre Dam Cathedral, Diamond Plaza & Reunification Palace. The park is named after Liberation Day, 30th April & is certainly a peaceful place for contemplation.

The trees here are fantastic, tall, mature & the source of shade that is another appealing factor of this park. This is a great place to sit, enjoy a drink, unwind & pass the time. Its location makes it a perfect place to take a break if one is undertaking a walking tour of the main attractions in the vicinity. The park is very well kept, cool & very clean thanks to the presence of litter pickers.

It is very popular with locals & tourists alike, most people come here to people watch, relax or just enjoy the lovely environment. There are hawkers but not an excessive amount, one can purchase a coconut, a drink, have a shoe polish, fruit or indeed a combination of all of these!

I full heartedly recommend a visit to 30/4 Park, it is a relaxing spot & certainly a great place to cool down on a hot day. Five stars for 30/4 park, it does all it should & even more.
