The best bò né in HCMC
Lệ Hồng is a basic Vietnamese eatery hidden away in an alley in District Phu Nhuan. I have been going there for years and quality has been very consistent, as has their growth. They seem to occupy another house in the alley every time a get there. This expansion is of course fueled by quality consious owners and a very good reputation.
I go here to enjoy bò né which is Vietnamese beefsteak served on a sizzling hot plate, I normally have mine with an egg and some fresh onions. I find the taste to be perfect for me, and they are as popular for their fruit as for their meat so I tend to spoil myself with a fresh passion fruit juice as well.
This is a great place to try basic Vietnamese food. Even though it is a bit more expensive than other places this basic, it more than makes up for it by offering great value. I tend to spend around 100,000đ on a meal here including the juice.
